i'm stuck inside so i made some pins out of candy wrappers
ok so my health teacher has discovered this "i wish my teacher knew" thing. like, she'll give out this little slip of paper at the beginning of the first class of the week and you're supposed to bare your soul out to her about whatever you wish she knew. when she introduced us to this concept, she played a video of a bunch of kids saying things like, "i wish my teacher knew that i have to work two shifts to take care of my siblings" or like, "my mom is currently sick in the hospital" and i think it's an awesome concept! the problem is shes grading them, and we're not able to opt out in any way.
and, like, i’m fine?? sure life’s not incredibly peachy, but i have people to talk to and other outlets for my thoughts (which im insanely grateful for, of course), and there’s nothing i want to share with her. like, isn’t normal to not want to forge a relationship with my health teacher?? can’t i just be a sleep deprived who sits in your classroom for an hour 2-3 times a week at 7 am and nothing more??
anyway this is a long-winded way to say i just may start lying about a string of wildly-timed hamster deaths.
